OH: Cuyahoga County Campaign by Parent Advocate

Subject: It is Feet on the Ground time

As some may know I have taken a job acting as campaign manager for a fellow advocate that is running for the 11th District Ohio House of Representatives seat, Roz McAllister. This has been a crash course in local politics and so far, a real learning experience for me.
I have been able to reach several key legislators thru this assignment and our message is taking hold with them.
One major thing that I want to bring to this is people on the ground for candidates that support our message of getting the government out of our families. You can help by doing this in your local area but I need the most help here in Ohio, particularly in the Cuyahoga County (Cleveland) area.
We are planning a literature drop in the near future which will require people to walk door to door passing out literature to voters. I need volunteers to work for a day to do this. I will have a day set for that soon.
Also planned is an event on September 25 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm where we have invited every candidate, including judges to participate in a "Drive by for the Candidates" where we will have local and hopefully statewide candidates available to speak directly with people in their own neighborhood. Responses are coming in with an enthusiastic Yes from the candidates. Among those that will be here are former Cleveland Browns player Dick Ambrose (pending a possible work assignment).
If you can help, please drop me a not or signup to volunteer thru Roz McAllister's web site at http://www.facebook.com/l/19f04Crl09utFQBRv0MBT5n2N9A;www.rozmcallister.com on the volunteer page.

If you can't be here to help it is important that you support your local candidates in their run for office. Find them and offer help so that we can change the problems that have affected so many people in this country. Feet on the ground can win an election for a qualified candidate and this is a small thing that you can do to bring about change locally and nationally.
