MI: Rocky For Congress

Their accusations are fraudulent because they can't be bothered by the facts" said Rocky.    By launching a vicious personal attack, Gary Peters today tried to divert attention from the failure of the Obama-Pelosi-Peters agenda that is bankrupting America and stifling job creation.  Even worse, in attacking Rocky (a decorated veteran of the war on terror), Peters is backing up the contemptible and baseless claims of a bankrupt and failed concert promoter recently arrested for possession of cocaine. "Gary Peters voted with Nancy Pelosi 95 percent of the time and supported Obamacare, the Stimulus and Cap and Trade, and then claims to be independent," said Rocky.  "Who's the one committing fraud?" "Peters is fighting dirty to keep his job because his big government schemes have utterly failed to help Oakland County families keep their jobs.  This case was already dismissed once by the court in Texas and will soon be dismissed in South Dakota.  Other than an accused bankrupt drug offender, the only person concerned about this case is Gary Peters." "The only conspiracy is between Gary Peters, Mark Brewer and the liberal special interests who are conspiring with loads of money and mud to hide Peters' record and deceive the voters," Rocky continued. "Let's focus on why Gary Peters is making these utterly false charges," Rocky concluded.  "He's behind in the polls and the Democrat Party bosses know he's out of sync and out of touch with Oakland County voters.  This is desperate mudslinging by a candidate desperate to hide from his record.  So, let me be clear:  Gary, you can run, but you can't hide."    Here are the facts:  1.  Is there a lawsuit?  Yes.  And that's about the only truth to the charges.    A failed concert promoter had substantial losses when attendance was low at a series of outdoor concerts a few years ago in South Dakota.  Rocky's company, Star Tickets, provided ticketing services through a state-of-the-art computer system that is set up to guarantee the integrity of every ticket sale, and it is impossible to manipulate the system.  Since he was going bankrupt, the failed promoter decided to sue all the other corporations and individuals who had provided services (even though they were not to blame). 2.  Are Rocky's partners suing him?  NO. Star Tickets was a vendor, not a partner.  The bankrupt promoter was a customer, not Rocky's partner -- just as GM is not your partner when they sell you a pickup truck for your business. 3. What's the truth about this case?
