I think Ruth Wisz will be giving a presentation on candidate training, and I am going to give a presentation on Precinct Delegate training. March 11 - Bloomfield Republican Women's Club Movie Night. I'm calling it movie night because I'm not sure what else to call it. The ladies are going to be watching the presentation of a film called "33 Minutes". 33 minutes is the time it takes for missile launched from the Middle East to reach the USA. Kind of makes all the Underwear Bomber jokes obsolete. They are meeting at Christ Church Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills (the intersection of Cranbrook & Lone Pine Roads), and will begin gathering at 5:45PM. Cost is $12/person. May 31 - Memorial Day This year is the sesquicentennial of Lincoln's historic election to the Presidency - which was followed by the Civil War and this day was created as a reminder that there were some men who never came home. Let's try to honor it as it should be.
