How about pushing for an US constitutional convention called for by 2/3rds of the states to repeal the 16th and 17th amendments? Maybe the convention ought to add an amendment that deals directly with the concept of “interstate commerce” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commerce_Clause . The language should be on how the US congress shall pass no law that does not deal directly with processes, activities and actions of distributing goods and services between the states.
