VAWA hearing before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.

Earlier today I sent an email saying that it was business as usual at a hearing today for the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. However, below is the written testimony of Dr. Richard Gelles which is not business as usual, the fact that Dr. Gelles was even invited to testify is in and of itself progress.
